BlackSheep is a place for youth to seek advice and use it to reach a greater potential in a personal stand point. With that being said, the lesson for today is DO DUMB SHIT.

DISCLAIMER:

When I say dumb shit I mean shit that you won’t regret later in life. If you have any slight thought that you might regret doing the thing you are about to do, DON’T DO IT. Regretting something is never worth it. You are wasting your time thinking about what could have happened, when you could use that time to be thinking about what you can be doing now or in the future.

Now, what is the logic to this incredibly weird lesson? Great question! Life is about living and learning. If you constantly do the same thing, you’re gonna end up in a lame routine not growing as a individual and living a boring life. You always need to be one step ahead of the game and catch your audience off guard. Also, you need to tell your kids good ass stories when you get old. (No one wants a lame parent)

To add, when you are doing some dumb shit make sure it has purpose. Don’t do it just because. Give yourself a reasoning behind anything you do. ESPECIALLY DUMB SHIT.

A Personal Example:

I myself needed to do some dumb shit before I left for college. You know, “leave with a bang” almost. There were many things to choose from, but I wanted something to represent home.  Something to always look back on and remember. Home to me is the place that made me who I am today. I love who I am and I love the people who influenced me in this way. I will always have this love for home, but I must never go home.  This is why I got a lip tattoo of the area code of where I am from. It’s perfect because it’s private, dumb as fuck but also funny as fuck. To add, I got a matching one with a dear friend of mine who I met in the “954.” Here is a picture to show you.

Dumb shit can be anything really. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a lip tattoo. This was just my example. Unfortunately, my tattoo has faded immensely, but I do not regret it. It was an experience I got to go through it with a ride or die.

Everyone has different levels of dumb shit. Something wild for you can be normal to someone else. Someone who never had their ear pierced, getting a piercing could be something wild to them. If that is the case, that is ok. If you are pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, (even if it just a little) you are doing something right. Take into consideration what your levels are and be sure in your decision ALWAYS!
